XMAS CARD

Hello again,
I haven't been here for a while and I do apologise, I have been busy with classes and Xmas Cards.
This is a favourite card of mine. The tree is made with certainly celery patterned paper and a heart punch, and layered over the top of each other. Very effective don't you think.
The other supplies are certainly celery and whisper white card stock, certainly celery brads and ribbon and bravo burgandy (put through the crimper) for the tree base. A gold star and a bit of glitter to finish off and you have a very easy and lovely to look at Xmas card. I hope you like it.

MONDAY MORNING CREATIVITY

Hi Everyone,
I was feeling creative and have just recieved this free Hostess Set, 'Oh So Lovely', so I thought I would play for a bit. This is the card I came up with. I love this set, and it's FREE if you host a workshop and have sales totaling $300.00.
I used Certainly Celery card and the Weathered background stamp.
I stamped the image on watercolour paper and used markers and an aqua brush to colour.
I then layered onto Summer Sun and Always Artichoke and used the wide Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon. The happy birthday is from the 'It's Your Birthday' stamp set, and its on watercolour paper, summer sun, and always artichoke card.
I finished off with gold brads. The scallops are done with the corner punch and the 1/16 circle punch.
I hope you like this card.

BAROQUE MOTIFS CARD

Hello everyone,
You get two photos today, as I can't delete one. This card was CASED from splitcoaststampers, Different stamp set but same colours.
I put a scallop edge on the Whisper White card, using the corner punch, and attached it to Rose Red card. I used the Baroque Motifs swirl as a background, and used the round scallop punch to punch out the image, then cut out another image to layer on top, and put a brad in the middle.
I attached these to Rose Red card card and layered onto Cameo Coral and Barely Banana, wrapping wide Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon around this and adding a white bow. I added a greeting, you could put any greeting you like, and the card was finished. I like these colours together, and they are on the SU Colour Wheel, which gives you heaps of colour combinations that you probably wouldn't think of yourself (Like these colours).
All products are from StampinUp and if you would like to order any, please call me as there are some great promotions on at the moment and lots of money to be saved.

CHRISTMAS CARDS

Hello Everyone,
I have cased this layout from a very creative person at Stampact. I love the colours and this xmas stamp set.
The card is Whisper White and I have used the Wintergreen DSP and Sage Shadow to decorate.
I stamped the tree in Sage Shadow twice and layered it onto Whisper White and Sage Shadow and sponged the edges with sage shadow chalk from the pastels.
I then stamped the swirl over this, masking the tree, and added the greeting, both in Sage shadow ink.
Gold Brads and some ribbon, finished the card. I love this card and it makes me feel happy.
I hope you like it too.

MORE BIRTHDAY CARDS FOR MY SON

I made this card for my Son's birthday. I wanted a masculine card, and even though I used the Wild About You Stamp Set, which is a very cute set, I still think it is a masculine card. I used Close to Cocoa, Always Artichoke, So Saffron and Whisper White cardstock.
I used the Word Window Punch to punch out the greeting and metal brads to finish.
The background is from the Rough Texture Jumbo Wheel, using Chocolate Chip ink. Very Masculine effect. I know he will like this card.
All the supplies are from the Stampin'Up Catalogue, and available to purchase from me.

MY SON'S BIRTHDAY

Hi everyone,
It's my son's birthday on Saturday so I made this card for his 14 month old daughter to give to him. It uses the All in the Family Stamp set, the Family Phases set and the Family Favorites Set. These sets are so much fun to use and you can make cards for anyone and any occasion with them.
I used the Perfect Plum, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White cardstock.
I used the Fire Rhinestone Brads and finished with the Regal Rose wide grosgrain ribbon.
If you would like to purchase any of these items, or ask any questions, please call me and I would love to have a chat or arrange a workshop or class for you.

RAINY SUNDAY

Hi Everyone,
I hope my pictures are improving. They can only get better.
As it was raining, and I was inside, I decided to play with my stamps. I used the Stipple Rose again, and the bleaching technique. I love this technique. It's so easy and so nice to look at. The Stipple Rose stamp is great for this, and makes a beautiful card.
The card colours are Garden Green, Barely Banana, Whisper White, Certainly Celery and Rose Red. This combination is straight from the Stampin'Up Colour Wheel. If you have trouble with colour combinations, this is the best investment you could make. You will never have trouble matching colours again.
I used the corner punch to make the scalloped edge, and the small hole punch to decorate it.
The ribbons are the wide Certainly Celery and the narrow Certainly Celery, and White. I finished the card off with 3 eyelets in the top corner and a Happy Birthday greeting.

Stampin'Up has a great promotion for the month of September. If you purchase a specially selected stamp set, they will give you the matching Wheel set for FREE! If you would like to find out more about this great offer, please contact me and I will tell you all about it.
Hope you enjoy your Sunday.

KEEP IN TOUCH

Hi Everyone,
It's always nice to hear from someone you haven't spoken to for awhile, so why don't you send a 'Hello' card to some friends and surprise them. It will brighten their day and thats what handmade cards are for.
This card was made using the Stipple Rose stamp and bleaching technique.
I stamped the image using a Gold stamp pad and Gold embossing powder.
I then bleached the image using an aqua pen filled with household bleach.
This takes the colour out of the paper and gives a quick and very lovely effect to the card.
The card I used was Pretty in Pink, Perfect Plum and Whispering White.
I finished the card off with brads and the Regal Rose wide grosgrain ribbon.
The greeting is from our Anchored rub ons and is very easy to apply, and looks lovely.
Hope you like this card. If you would like any more information on this technique, or you have any questions, please contact me and I will be happy to have a chat.

BOLD BRIGHTS

Hello Everyone,

I have been trying to make my camera take better photos, but it has a mind of it's own, and doesn't want to cooperate. I will keep trying. I have learn't that perserverance pays off, so keep looking and you may get a surprise soon (better photos I hope).

Anyway, I had a bright day and wanted to use the bold brights colours as I don't use these as much as the other colours. I think sometimes you need to go out of your comfort zone and try something new.

The card is Pixie Pink, and the flowers were all made with the Spring Flower Bouquet Punch, and punched out with the Bold Bright colours. I did weaken and use Bashful Blue card from the Soft Subtles set and used the Petals Jumbo Wheel for the background. I used Diamond glitter for the centre of the flowers and Whisper White for the centre, to stamp your greeting on. I think this card would be nice for a get well card or maybe a young girls birthday.

All products used for this card are Stampin'Up products and if you would like to purchase them or ask any questions about them, please feel free to call me or email me anytime. Hope your week is bright.

TIME TO START CHRISTMAS CARDS

Before you know it, Xmas will be around the corner, and the mad rush will be on to make Xmas cards. So I thought I would get a head start and make some now.

This card is made with Real Red, Old Olive and Whisper white, layered on top of each other. I have used the corner punch to make the scallops, and the 1/16in circle punch to decorate the scallops. I love this effect, and it's so easy to achieve on your cards. The Real Red striped grosgrain ribbon finishes it of beautifully (love this ribbon).

The stamp I used is the tree from the Loads of Love stamp. I used Versamark ink and coloured it with Old Olive from the pastels, and added dazzling diamond glitter all over it ( although you can't see this easily from the photo).

The greeting is from the Many Merry Messages stamp set, and it is finished with brads.

If you would like to get a start on your Xmas Cards, organise a few friends and ring me to arrange a workshop at your house. We will do a couple of cards and have some fun using some of the many products that Stampin'Up have.

You can amaze your family when you give them beautiful, handmade cards for Xmas.

If you can't arrange this, then you may like to come to cardmaking classes on Friday mornings and enjoy the atmosphere, make some cards, and have fun.

LOOKS LIKE LIKE SPRING

Hello, and welcome.

I was having a 'wish it was warmer' day, and decided to make a card that made me feel like spring was not far away.

I used elegant eggplant card, and layered pretty in pink and whisper white. I drew a frame around the whisper white card using pretty in pink markers.
I stamped the large flower from 'Looks Like Spring' stamp in pretty in pink, and stamped a few leaves from 'Time well Spent' in old olive ink.
Stamp the flowers in pretty in pink, so saffron and elegant eggplant inks, and punch out using the Spring Flower Bouquet punch. Attach to card.
Use Elegant Eggplant and So Saffron paper with the Photo Corners punch and attach to the top corner.
The greeting used was from the 'For a Friend' hostess set, which you can earn for free when hosting a Stampin'Up workshop.

I hope you like this card and enjoy the thought of Spring, just around the corner.
